  1. Where are you located?

    Hawaii Radiologics has a number of offices in Hilo and Kona. Please refer to our Office Location list for addresses, office hours, and other information.




  2. What examinations do you perform?

    We perform numerous examinations, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, computerized tomography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, interventional radiology, and angiography. For a comprehensive list of available exams, please refer to our List of Services.




  3. How can I schedule an appointment?

    Office hours vary according to clinic location. Please refer to our scheduling information page to find more about office locations and hours.




  4. I have an exam scheduled. What do I need to do to prepare for it?

    Your pre-exam preparation will depend on the type of exam you have scheduled. You will receive information about this when you schedule your appointment.
    Pre-exam preparation information for a few select exams is also available online.




  5. What insurance companies do you participate with?

    Please refer to our list of participating insurance companies. Alternate plans are generally acceptable. Please call our billing office at (808) 935-1825 if you have any pressing concerns.




  6. What are your billing procedures?

    When you come in for a procedure (scheduled or emergency), we take your billing information, including insurance information. After the procedure, our billing office will file a claim with your insurance provider. The claim is accepted or rejected, and a bill for the amount you should pay is sent to you on the first of the next month. If you have additional questions, please call our billing office.




  7. I received a bill. Please explain the layout to me.

    Our billing statements have been designed to make it as easy as possible to understand, yet provide you with the necessary detail for your records. A payment stub and return envelope are provided to help ensure that your account is properly credited. A detailed description of our statement is available online.
